Chris Gunn is a licensed REALTOR®, consultant and entrepreneur, who carries an enormously wide variety of professional skills in the fields of real estate, human resources, business development, agriculture, and global missions.

Chris grew up gleaning from the public accounting and financial services fields, being educated of client challenges as a young child at the dinner table, to later working and being trained at his father’s firm in his teenage and young adult years. Through that lifelong education along with earning a degree in psychology with a focus in business management from the University of South Florida, he later started a human resources consulting firm dedicated to developing average companies into the best workplaces in the world with lifelong staff. Chris has consulted with many well-known companies such as Crunch Fitness, F45 Fitness, and large local players such as Sturdy Built Trailer Parts.

He later joined Harry E. Robbins Associates, Inc., one of the top Manasota-region commercial real estate brokerage firms with a focus in commercial real estate and local development projects. Through his experience, he recognized various local needs for improvement, particularly the need for light industrial, micro-retail and affordable housing opportunities, and he began seeking ways to make an impact. Ultimately, this led to the connection and partnership with Rise Financial Partners.

Chris also sees the writing on the wall with the United States’ collapsing agriculture industry and founded Quanta Permaponics, a hybrid permaculture and aquaponic farming concept designed to grow “better than organic” produce at higher yields than traditional GMO farming that is destroying the human immune system along with our planet’s soils. Quanta seeks to make sure that the Manasota region will always have access to affordable, quality produce. Quanta will be a leading innovator to show how food access issues can easily be solved when traditional agriculture techniques are free to innovate.

Chris brings to the group the ability to mix practical analysis with a high level of creativity, uniquely able to identify market opportunities and determine their profitability. As a result, his greatest skill is his ability to take complex ideas from a conceptual stage through to completion. His detail-orientated approach mixed with strong leadership and project management skills make him an effective player for any opportunity or growing company.

With a background in global missions, Chris has publicly spoken and ministered with his wife in nearly thirty countries. He is the author of The Line Between Faith & Stupidity, a book about a year-long journey he and his wife took to see if they could find the limitations of the faithfulness of God.

In his free time, you can find him doing something adventurous with his wife Jessica and his two children. He enjoys global metropolitan travel, trying new restaurants and coffees, woodwork and home remodeling. He has a significant interest in music and Broadway-style shows. However, real estate is his biggest interest, and you can often find him driving with the windows down, looking at all the nearby parcels to see how they can be better.
